On EECARO.eu your personal data is collected and further processed. EECARO is responsible for this. Please read on this page what EECARO does with the data you provide actively through the website, how we protect it and how you can exercise your rights under the GDPR.

Data control

EECARO remains the sole owner of the information collected on this site and is your data controller. We only have access to information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. This implies that we will collect and further process your data based on your consent. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your data to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about EECARO activities, EECARO conferences or changes to this privacy policy.

Data storage

Your data is stored at TNO and the University of Liege  – as one of the founding members of EECARO – using cloud storage hosted by Microsoft within the European Union. We may share your information with parties outside of our organization when necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. access the EECARO network, such as IT-services suppliers, web and data hosting parties, payment processors and accountants. Based on the GDPR, you have various rights to check if EECARO collects and uses your personal data in accordance with the law. You can request access to your data, check if EECARO has used the data lawfully or object against the processing of your personal data, by sending an e-mail to info@eecaro.eu.
